About us
A single focus: getting held money back to the people it belongs to.
Reclaim Advisory is an Australian firm that does one thing. We find unclaimed money sitting on government registers, and we do the work required to get it released.
Why we exist
The money is not lost. It is just not being asked for.
Unclaimed money is one of the quieter problems in Australian finance. Funds that cannot be delivered are handed to a government register and held there, indefinitely, until somebody lodges a claim for them.
The registers are public. The problem is that nobody is looking, because nobody is told. Money ends up filed under a name a person no longer uses, a company that has been deregistered, or a trust whose trustee changed a decade ago. It sits there because the paperwork required to release it is heavier than most people expect.
That gap is the whole reason we exist. We know what each authority asks for, what makes a claim stall, and what evidence actually moves it forward.
How we work
Four commitments we hold ourselves to.
We tell you if there is nothing
If the search comes back empty, that is what you will hear. We would rather lose an engagement than manufacture one.
Recover nothing, pay nothing
We work on commission, so our fee is a percentage of what is actually recovered. The rate is agreed in writing before any work starts, and if the claim recovers nothing, you owe us nothing.
Your information stays yours
We handle identity documents and financial records. They are used for your claim and nothing else, and they are never sold or shared for marketing.
Honest timeframes
Authorities move at their own pace. We will tell you what is realistic rather than what sounds good, and keep you posted as things progress.
The difference
Where a self-service search runs out of road.
Anyone can type a name into a government register. The difficulty starts after that, and it is where most claims quietly stop.
| The situation | On your own | With Reclaim Advisory |
|---|---|---|
| Name no longer matches ID | Claim rejected for identity mismatch | We evidence the link between former and current name |
| Company deregistered | No obvious party able to claim | We establish the corporate chain and who may act |
| Trustee has changed | Entitlement hard to demonstrate | We document the trust history end to end |
| Owner has died | Estate paperwork stalls the claim | We work with the executor on the estate evidence |
| Authority requests more | Claim lapses while you work out what is needed | We respond and keep the claim moving |
Let us check the registers for you.
It takes a few minutes to start and costs nothing to find out.
