Individuals
Funds held under a former address, a maiden or previous name, or an account closed years ago. We search your full name history, not just your current one.
Unclaimed money recovery · Australia
Every Australian state and territory holds unclaimed funds, and so do ASIC and AFSA. Reclaim Advisory searches all of them, prepares the evidence, and manages the claim from lodgement to payment.

Registers we search
The problem
When a payment cannot be delivered and the holder loses contact with you, the funds do not disappear. They are transferred to a government register and held indefinitely until someone claims them.
The catch is that nobody tells you. There is no letter and no notification. The money sits under a former address, a maiden name, a deregistered company or a trust that changed trustees, and it stays there until a claim is lodged.
Refunds, rebates and final payments sent to an address you left years ago.
Balances left behind when a bank account or facility was closed out.
Funds owed to an entity that has since been wound up or deregistered.
Records held under a maiden name, former trading name or previous trustee.
What we do
We search every state and territory register, plus ASIC and AFSA, against your full history: previous names, former addresses, related entities and trusts. A single-name search in a single state misses most of it.
Claims fail on proof, not entitlement. We assemble the identity documents, company records and chain-of-entitlement evidence each authority requires before it will release funds.
We lodge the claim, respond to requests for further information, and follow it through the authority’s process until the funds are released to you.
Who we act for
Funds held under a former address, a maiden or previous name, or an account closed years ago. We search your full name history, not just your current one.
Money owed to a trading entity, a subsidiary, or a company that has since been deregistered. Recovery here turns on establishing the corporate chain.
Holdings attached to a trust that has changed trustees, or to a deceased estate. These require the clearest documentary chain of any claim type.
The process
Step 1
You give us your name history and any related entities. Takes a few minutes.
Step 2
We search the registers and confirm whether there is anything held in your name.
Step 3
We build the evidence pack and complete the authority’s claim forms with you.
Step 4
We lodge, follow up, and stay on it until the funds are released to you.
Coverage
Unclaimed money is held separately by each jurisdiction, and there is no single national list that captures all of it. Money can sit in a register belonging to a state you left years ago, or with one of two Commonwealth bodies. We search all of them.
AFSA is the one most people miss. If you, or a company or trust you were connected to, has ever been through bankruptcy or an insolvency process, there may be funds held there that never appear on any state register.

Timeframes are set by the authority, not by us. Straightforward individual claims are usually quickest. Company, trust and deceased estate claims take longer because the evidence requirements are heavier. We will give you a realistic estimate once we have seen what is involved in your matter.
We work on commission. The search and the initial eligibility check cost you nothing, and our fee is a percentage of what is actually recovered. If we recover nothing, you owe us nothing. The exact rate is agreed in writing before any work begins.
To begin, just your name, including any previous names, and the names of any companies, trusts or entities you have been associated with. That is enough for us to search. Identity and supporting documents are only needed later, if a claim is actually lodged.
Yes. Your details are used only to search for and pursue unclaimed money on your behalf, and are never sold or passed on for marketing. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what we collect, who we disclose it to, and how to access or correct it.
Send us your details and we will search every state and territory register, plus ASIC and AFSA. If there is nothing there, we will tell you. We are paid a percentage of what we recover, so if you recover nothing, you pay nothing.
